Bolstering the Manhattan Project, Company Adds CCO and CMO to Support the Edge Industry

To expand and drive growth of the previously announced Manhattan Project, the company has appointed Anders Evju as Chief Commercial Officer and David Span as Chief Marketing Officer. These strategic hires amplify and reassure the development and growth of the company’s vision of an Open5G Edge Internet.

A proven leader with a history of building and scaling global platform companies in their early stages, Anders joins AlefEdge to drive the commercial growth of the Open5G Edge Internet as AlefEdge continues to expand in APAC, Latin America, Europe and the United States. Prior to joining Alef as Chief Commercial Officer, Anders served as SVP Business Development at Location Analytics leader, Cinarra Systems. He also served as SVP Americas at Rhapsody/Napster and CRO/CMO of Playphone, where he led global business development, strategy and worldwide marketing efforts until 2014 when Playphone was sold to GungHo. Anders also co-founded the mobile games provider I-play—acquired by Oberon Media—and served as its SVP and GM for the Americas & APAC.
David will lead product and brand marketing for AlefEdge. He joins Alef at an exciting time when the opportunity is right for disruption in the mobile industry. David is an innovative marketing leader with diverse and strong expertise working with a wide range of technology-driven companies, from startups to large corporations. Most recently, David was Head of Marketing for LifeStation, a leading national provider of medical alert systems, where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing. Prior to LifeStation, David held senior-level roles in marketing, sales and product at companies including AT&T, Vidyo, Arkadin and Net2Phone/IDT, which focused on telecommunications, video conferencing and mobile applications.
